The design of the new boarding school infuses urban life with the beauty of nature, creating a safe and stimulating educational space complemented by a series of landscaped green spaces and stunning mountain views.
The building is set across three levels. The ground floor is very open with multiple access points and features common spaces open to both students and the public. To the right of the main entrance, all can enjoy the dining, bar and gym facilities, while the space to the left features a library, a reading room and meeting spaces reserved just for students. A linear garden sits on the north side and a small open theatre is located to the west.
The ground floor dining room is also used by pupils from the local elementary school. A pedestrian path connects the two schools and leads to an dedicated entrance on the north side, with access to the garden for relaxation and play.
The first and second floors contain private bedrooms for students and staff. The comfortable and contemporary rooms measure around 20sqm and each has a private bathroom and balcony. Each floor features a common open kitchen and living room where students can socialise, in addition to two roof gardens for gardening and outdoor activities.
There are two vehicle access points. The first leads to storage facilities for kitchen and gym supplies, while the second leads to the building’s underground parking facility.
